Customize your furniture with a variety of stylish choices
of Ohio Certified Stains. 

A well finished piece of furniture preserves the beauty of wood for the years to come. On our stain wall in the store we feature four types of wood including: Oak, Maple, Rustic Cherry, and Quartersawn White Oak. We also work with other woods such as, Hickory, Elm, and Walnut upon request.

Pictures cannot do the stain options justice, to get a better feel on how the stains actually look your best option is to come into the showroom and see them in person.  Each of the swatches can be pulled off the wall and taken the the piece of furniture you'd like in that stain to help you envision the piece that you design.  We will be happy to help you. 

A break to observe Kid cuteness

Our first mama Nigerian Goat (of three) had her kids this past week, and the little 2lb goats (who are about the size of our mama cat) have stolen our hearts. They are so playful from the beginning, it's almost too much to handle.

these two fellows are both tri-colored and the one of the left is even blue eyed.!

Alex loves the goats almost as much as I do, the little darlings barely come up to his waist.

New table and Chairs on the showroom.

We've just received two new table sets on the showroom floor to offer more variety in styles.

 Casual Comfort Table and Chair Set.

Solid Top round table with legs (instead of a pedestal) is a new design for us on the showroom.

This table is paired with a more modern chair that has mortise and tenon back, each slat is attached at a slightly different angle to make the chair more comfortable.

Helvetica Table and Chair Set

We've had this table multiple times before, but have never branched out and used the Helvetica Chair as well. The style of this chair certainly grabs your attention, and reminds me a bit of the old school chairs.

Turned Leg Island

This turned leg table in painted black with the two inch top can make a beautiful addition when you update your kitchen area in your home. 

It is available in several different sizes, colors, and woods.

Frank & Lisa in NJ

We love to see photos of the furniture you purchase in your homes and Frank and Lisa just shared this photo of their dining room.  

They purchased the Farm House Table with Orleans Chairs with padded seats, and 3 Door Hutch in two toned painted black and Michael's Cherry Stain on Maple wood. 

We love how classic this table set looks in their home. 

And as Frank and Lisa discovered when their furniture set was delivered by Sam their furniture was marked and said "made especially for...(their last name)" 

When you customize furniture either wood species, stain, and sometimes even sizing the furniture is made especially for you. 

Kings Lancaster County Favorites

We are excited to be working on a booklet of our favorite places in the area to visit, whether it is food, activities, places to relax, coffee and ice cream. We all have our favorites "go to"s.

While discussing Katie's Kitchen with Martha she described it as "boring" and upon further discussion, I realized that she doesn't enjoy going there because it's all the food she gets at home. Why would you GO somewhere to buy food that your mom makes for you at home?

If you ask me that is the best compliment to Authentic Amish cooking. So if you are looking for a place to eat that is Authentic, Katie's Kitchen is so typical that a 15 year old Amish girl thinks it's too much like her mom's cooking. Check them out!
