The boys have been struggling with a bout of the flu for 5 days, and we were going a bit crazy in the house. So this morning we snuck out to work and pick up a hand full of catalogs and candle samples to choose some new scents for showroom.
We are excited to be adding Eco Candle Company product line in our showroom. All their candles are 100% soy wax made in the USA while sourcing all their products from the United States as well. We can't wait until you can smell these too.
We already have several of the Mandle (Candles for men) scents in the showroom - and they are hilarious! The scents are unlike what you typically can find in a candle and a fabulous gift for the guys in your life. They are poured in a 16 oz paint can - just the style for a man :)

The Carnivore - The smell of hickory smoked bacon for the guy who believes in only one food group
Country Bumkin - The comforting smell of good old fashioned home cookin' and the great outdoors.
Game Day - Pigskin and grass stains... bringing the smells of the field to your couch
Grease Monkey - A real man's happy place is in the garage.
Farmer - For the man who wakes up before the sun and makes dirt look good
Happy Camper - for the tent-dwelling guy who feels at home among the cedars.
Mr. Mom - For the dad who can change a diaper faster than you can say, "baby powder."
Handy Man - For the sawdust-covered jack of all trades
Mountain Man - Fresh pine forest to make the outdoorsman feel at home.
The boys carefully sniffed all the sample scents we had and gave their opinions. Asking for their input makes for hilarious discussions.
The results
The most controversial : coffee bean (one said it was SO YUMMY! And the other said it smelled gross!!!)
the funniest: baby's butt (vanilla, lavender, and baby powder - so relaxing) 😂😂 of course, they think it's hilarious, Alex was nervous to smell it...because he knows too well what a baby's diaper smells like.
Ryan's favorite: ocean waves (fresh marine notes, citrus and a hint of musk, the essence of fresh ocean air) I think this was his favorite due to the color, it was the only blue one in the batch - but he insisted it smelled the best.
Alex's favorite(s): precious woods (smoked wood, nutmeg, musk, & ylang blossoms) How could he not love it - it says "precious" and "woods" He loves to be out in the woods when possible.
citrus squeeze (a bold citrus blend of sweet orange, tangerine, pink grapefruit, lemon and lime.
My (Lisa's) favorites: it's a tie between Hipster (The rich smell of organic, fair trade coffee bean brewing in the local coffee shop) this is a part of the MANdle collection, and the women are to stay away from the candles... but I can't help it - it is fabulous! and honey mango (ripe mangos, pure honey and a hint of papaya. best way to kick winter blues? Citrus and sunshine.
