A Visit to Ken's Gardens

Earlier this week, we visited Ken's Gardens to celebrate the arrival of "spring".

They had just received a shipment of house plants

and were unpacking the boxes as we walked around.

Ken's Gardens

is located right off of Route 340

in the middle of Intercourse, PA.

They also have a location in Smoketown.

It's one of our favorite places to visit,

and they always have the prettiest

seasonal outdoor plants,

house plants, air plants, etc.

Alex's favorite was these pansies. 

"Look how nice the color is!" he kept saying, as he looked at it proudly.

Laura's favorite plant was all of them.

She walked around smelling and touching all the little plants.

 Ryan's favorite plant was this tiny little cactus. 

It was beautiful, as always, and we will be back before too long!

Small Tables in Small Spaces

The Rosewood Poster Bed is perfect to string lights around, creating a cozy atmosphere.

They are made in Ohio and can be customized to fit your personal taste.

This particular one is made of a Rustic Cherry wood and finished with a Boston stain. 

Spring is just around the corner, tomorrow to be exact :)

  so we added some eucalyptus to freshen up the space.

A Ladies Night & The 2018 Gordonville Mud Sale

A look at this week's events...

March 8 is International Women's Day, celebrated by countries around the world.

It is often celebrated by giving flowers to influential women in your life,

and it is said to be a combination of Mother's Day and Valentine's Day.

This year, in celebration of International Women's Day, 

King's Homestead is hosting a Ladies Night, designed for women, ages 12 to 101.

The purpose of the evening is to enjoy a relaxing evening of shopping 

with fun, food, and flowers.

Besides King's Homestead's store to shop in, there will be vendors: Arbonne, Plexus, Young Living, and Three Strands, in addition to a florist. Read more about it here on the event page.

The 2018 Gordonville Mud Sale is this Saturday, March 10.

We will be a parking shuttle location, and if you park here,

be sure to come inside and enjoy some treats on us!

We will be serving donuts from M&A Sweets (our favorites again )

and coffee from New Holland Coffee, brewed by us.
