Swingsets

Happy First Day of Summer!

The playground in front of our showroom got a little bit of an update. We switched out one of the swing sets that had been there for several years with a new one.

It is made of wood and accented with blue.

If you've been here within the last several years,
you've seen this maroon/tan vinyl swing set multiple times.

On this one, Laura's favorite piece is the yellow swing.

We have multiple styles available in different colors,
different materials (wood or poly), and with different add-on options.

Feel free to ask us for more information anytime you would like to.

The Finland Bedroom Collection

The Finland Bedroom Collection got a brand new room, built just for it.
Clean and sophisticated is the general feel of the room,
with freshly painted white walls, purple accents,

and the beautiful Finland Bedroom furniture.

Have you seen the hidden storage in our Finland Collection? Two jewelry pull-out panels are hidden behind the mirror in the dresser, and a jewelry drawer hidden in the chest of drawers.

Baskets are sweet for blanket storage, and sheepskins add softness and warmth.

Instead of adding a second nightstand, we hung a shelf.
Is this something you would try?

This chest of drawers has a hidden jewelry/watch drawer that pops out
between the second and third drawer.

"Love is patient, love is kind. it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
I Corinthians 13:4-5

When you stop in the showroom, be sure and check out the Finland Collection and look for the hidden storage. Also, check out the spaces we've been busy rearranging!

Fulton Steamboat Inn

We spent the most relaxing time at this local establishment in celebration to our oldest child's winter birthday earlier this month.
It's been on his list to visit since he was three, so it was fun to surprise him with a one night stay at the Fulton Steam Boat Inn.
I expected to enjoy our time there (family vacation, what’s not to love!?) but was pleasantly surprised with how much I personally LOVED the actual facilities.

They are reasonably priced, and the environment was more amicable than expected.
The interior is tastefully decorated with a Steamboat theme with all the modern amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed the indoor heated pool (LOOK at those tile koi fish!!!)

.and the Children's play ground has a fabulous pirate ship and castle.

The ground are just gorgeous.

They also have a  fire pit they will light for you if you'd like to enjoy an evening campfire
(you can bring your own marshmallows and enjoy your own s'mores)

We enjoyed a late family style breakfast at Huckleberry's Restaurant
and a round of mini golf at Lost Treasure right across the road.

If the children don't beg to go back, I'm afraid I might be the one asking to go back.
(Or at least to play tourist in our own home area, it is a delightful vacation without the need to travel long distance!)
