Pinewood & Posies

If you are a part of our weekly mailing list you should remember Pinewood & Posies I just emailed out about them saying that I would love to visit them. AND today we did!

The place took me a little by surprise because of the tiny sign out by the road, then there was a long driveway, and a building still a bit under construction - but there was a sign on the door letting us know we were at the right place.
We went inside and they were very welcoming and gave the boys each a pair of trimmers (Alex used them under lots of supervision, he would have loved to cut every flower of right below the head)
They warned us that some of the pathways were muddy due to all the rain yesterday, but we were excited to be out and cutting our own flowers anyway. Boys and mud - What could be better in their minds? Cutting flowers while walking around in the mud!!!
Ryan chose a large variety of flowers not wanting more than one of each kind, and touring the whole garden.
Alex chose the colorful Zinnias and cut of many different ones quickly.
Both boys (and Mama) were quite please with our new flower location, just several minutes from work with lovely scenery on the way.
When we were finished, she wrapped them in a wet paper towel and cellophane, and made them feel like they picked the most beautiful bouquets ever!

They also have two refrigerators with beautiful arrangements already made and ready to go.
We had an enjoyable experience, and I'm sure we'll be visiting here again several times this summer.

If you are interested in signing up for our weekly email, check out the top of our Facebook page.

You'll receive showroom updates, tips, and occasionally even local places we love to visit, and get a general feel of what is happening here at King's Acres (and the Mast household too)

Here is a peek of what our email subscribers saw earlier in the week.
Pinewood & Posies
4547 White Oak Rd., Paradise, Pa 17562
Open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
I just heard about a place locally that I can NOT wait to check out! It is a local florist only 5 miles from here. They have a 2-acre flower garden open that you can "pick your own" arrangements or buy an already arranged bouquet.
